The North Central Illinois Pekingese Club is the proud sponsor of this unique Virtual Online Pekingese Breed Specialty. We hope this fun opportunity gives people something to enjoy and promote the breed while awaiting our next specialty in Bloomington, Illinois in 2021 held in conjunction with the Pekingese Club of America National Specialty.

Who is the Show Helping?

Liz E.’s Pekingese Rescue and Sanctuary is a 501(C)3 non-profit Pekingese Rescue and Sanctuary. We have had Pekingese rescue dogs since the late 80s. We have helped rescue dogs since the late 90s. We specialize in the health and safety of Pekingese dogs. We are best known for our care of those who are disabled, seniors, geriatrics or have behavioral issues. We want to find homes for these dogs where they will receive love for who they are and what troubles they own. Our rescue and sanctuary is a place where a Pekingese has the freedom to be a dog and live in the comfort of their choosing, warm beds, friends, toys and a big yard. If you adopt from us, please understand these are rescued dogs. They will need ample time to adjust to a new environment. We cannot do this without the support of YOU.
